THESE ARE NOT TRUE BENI CHIDORI

In 2019, seeds were collected from a Beni Chidori in Japan.  A parent plant was selected.  These are cuttings from that parent plant.  THESE ARE NOT TRUE BENI CHIDORI

Please see attached image from Meriggioli's book Bonsai Maples.  The core principle being illustrated -- thicken a section, cutback to a new leader, thicken next section -- can be used to grow any style of bonsai: upright, slant, cascade, etc.
